The Insight

Barbecue, humor, and sports are the holy trinity of Dad interests. Our audience’s natural passion for these topics, combined with the endorsement of a well-known athlete, would drive engagement and buzz around Kroger’s next-level flavor.

The Solution

We enlisted MLB pitcher Clayton Kershaw and his family in a series of custom videos on The Dad to engage viewers with heightened humor and hero Kroger’s “Private Selection” brand as the All-Star of every cookout. From the pregame speech to the post-game presser, we featured a wide variety of Kroger products and delivered genuine entertainment to its community.
