Senior Vice President, Creative
Karen oversees creative efforts for BDG’s brands including Bustle, Nylon, The Zoe Report, Elite Daily, Inverse, Scary Mommy, Romper, and many more.
A former student of Fine Art and Art History, Karen started her career at British Vogue. Working as a Picture Editor and Designer for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and GQ amongst others of the industry’s leading titles, Karen was appointed Art Director of Vanity Fair’s U.K. office in 2007. She went on to be appointed Creative Director of Special Issues and Promotions - a position she held from 2009 to 2014.
Karen moved to New York in the summer of 2014 to continue her career at Conde Nast as Art Director of Teen Vogue, working across the print and digital platforms.
In 2016 Karen joined Amazon Fashion as Senior Art Director. In her three years Karen created on and off-site marketing materials for all Amazon Fashion’s Private label brands.
